Scottail Studio does not exist. There is no shop, no jointer, no eleven-week lead time and no bench that replaced your table.

This site is a parody — a fan project built around a running joke from the Blacktail Studio comment section, where somebody suggested the name and several thousand people agreed it should exist. So here it is.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Blacktail Studio, Cam Anderson, or Scott in any way. Nobody involved with the real channel had anything to do with this, was consulted about it, or has approved it.

To be completely unambiguous, since the whole design of the thing is meant to look plausible:

• Scott has not quit his job.
• Scott has not started a competing furniture business.
• There is no feud. There is no rivalry. They appear to genuinely like each other, which is most of why the real videos are good.
• Nothing here is for sale. Every price on this site is fictional. No payment is collected anywhere, by anyone, for anything.
• The quotes attributed to "a larger studio across town" are invented jokes, not statements by any real person.
• No email address you type into this website is stored, because there is nowhere to store it. It's a static page.

The jokes are drawn from things the real channel has actually done on camera — the ground rules, the bow ties, the sanding, a router bearing that went where it shouldn't. That's affection, not commentary. If you found this funny, the funny part is theirs.

Go and watch the real thing. It's better than this, it's actually a business, and the man really can build a table.
